Spring 2020

This exhibition represents a real testimony to the perseverance of our artists in remaining creative despite the stress they – like many – have to face. We are therefore very proud to present you with this new body of work.

Many of the artworks on display have indeed been created during this period of lockdown, some as a direct response to the current situation. They are therefore imbued with a distinct historical resonance which makes them, beyond their aesthetic appeal, even more special.

Being a mixed show, the work has been produced in a range of artforms and genres. Participating are some of our longer term artists together with Greer Ralston (oil), June Bell (mixed media) and John Onslow (watercolour) who have joined us more recently. You will find a little bit more information on these three newcomers on their respective artworks page.

The artworks may appear cropped on the thumbnails. However the image will revert to its full size, once it is clicked.

Finally, we would like to thank you for visiting this exhibition on line. We hope you enjoy the work!
